About Aya

Aya is a fashion-tech company developing the GCC’s fastest on-demand, trend-driven platform, specializing in culturally relevant, modest fashion. The company identifies emerging trends, tests market demand, and collaborates with suppliers to produce items customers desire, thereby minimizing excess stock. Launched in May 2024 with abayas in the Saudi market, Aya is expanding its categories to serve the entire GCC region from a single platform. The Role: Culture & Engagement Intern

Aya is seeking a Culture & Engagement Intern for a full-time, on-site internship based in Riyadh. This role offers a 4-month training duration and provides an opportunity to contribute to shaping the employee experience at Aya. The intern will focus on creating initiatives that strengthen company culture, enhance employee engagement, and foster a sense of belonging within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the People & Culture team, the Culture & Engagement Intern will be responsible for:

Planning and executing internal events and team experiences.
Creating engaging content and communications for internal channels.
Developing culture initiatives.
Identifying methods to enhance employee connection, appreciation, and integration into the Aya community.
Gathering employee feedback and translating insights into actionable ideas.
Supporting onboarding experiences for new team members.
Collaborating with various teams to ensure Aya’s values are reflected in daily work and interactions.

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, HR, Communications, PR, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and connect with diverse teams.
Strong writing and communication skills for creating clear and engaging internal content.
Fluency in both English and Arabic.
