Deputy Director Facilities Maintenance

About the Role

GDC Middle East is seeking a Deputy Director, Facilities Maintenance to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves directing the daily operations of the Facilities Maintenance Directorate, evaluating existing systems and procedures, and overseeing the implementation of new processes. The Deputy Director will provide expert guidance based on extensive experience in the aviation facilities industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Director will be responsible for a range of strategic and operational duties, ensuring efficient and effective facilities maintenance for MNG Aviation base facilities. This includes:

• Analyzing, designing, developing, coordinating, staffing, and publishing plans, policies, programs, and other procedural documents.
• Directing personnel and administrative processes for Facilities Maintenance, including timesheets, employee performance assessments, feedback, contract negotiations, and organizational advice.
• Implementing continuous process improvements to support organizational goals and formulating Directorate and organizational policies to maximize performance.
• Ensuring adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures, and guaranteeing that Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) are met as stated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Drafting and submitting CDRL reports as required by the contract.
• Directing the use of human resources, overseeing recruitment and placement of staff, establishing organizational structures, and delegating tasks and accountabilities.
• Leading, mentoring, and supervising subordinate managers.
• Participating in strategic planning initiatives and aligning Directorate strategies with internal resources to facilitate company goals.
• Directing the personnel, administrative, and financial functions for the Directorate, following guidance provided by OPM-SANG.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in facilities maintenance within the aviation industry, coupled with proven leadership abilities.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the aviation facilities industry.
• Ability to design and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

Required Skills
