About the Role

Foreground is seeking a Director of AI Governance & Adoption to establish and lead the framework for responsible AI deployment. This full-time position is based in Riyadh. The role recognizes that successful AI implementation requires more than just technology, emphasizing strong governance, organizational readiness, employee engagement, and responsible adoption across all business functions.

Role Overview and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, the Director of AI Governance & Adoption will be instrumental in developing the policies, standards, and governance framework necessary to ensure Artificial Intelligence is deployed responsibly, securely, and consistently throughout the Group. This role is central to fostering a culture of ethical and effective AI utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing AI governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring adherence to ethical AI principles.
• Developing and implementing organizational readiness strategies for AI.
• Leading AI literacy programs and enterprise-wide adoption initiatives.
• Collaborating with Human Resources, Legal, Information Security, Risk Management, and subsidiary leadership to equip employees for effective AI utilization while maintaining governance and compliance.
• Managing enterprise communication strategies related to AI adoption.
• Designing and executing change management programs for AI integration.
• Establishing metrics for adoption measurement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess extensive experience in areas such as governance, enterprise risk, organizational change, digital transformation, compliance, or technology governance. Essential capabilities include strong stakeholder management and communication skills, along with a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Experience in developing governance frameworks for emerging technologies or comprehensive enterprise digital programs will be considered highly advantageous.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role involves close collaboration with various internal departments and subsidiary leadership teams to ensure successful AI integration across the organization.
