Overview of the Role

eMagine Solutions is seeking a Head of Business Development – Contract Logistics to join a leading global logistics and supply chain provider in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on driving growth within the Contract Logistics division by securing and scaling significant warehousing and distribution agreements. The position requires operating at a C-level with Saudi family groups, Government-Related Entities (GREs), and multinational corporations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a country-wide sales strategy for Contract Logistics across KSA, aligning with the division’s growth roadmap and target verticals (FMCG, retail & e-commerce, industrial, healthcare/pharma, automotive/FVL).
  • Win new business across dedicated and multi-user warehousing, distribution, and value-added services (VAS).
  • Lead large, complex opportunities end-to-end, from qualification and solutioning to RFQ/RFP, negotiation, and contract signature.
  • Build commercially robust proposals with solutions design, operations, and finance (including rate cards, pricing models, open/closed book, and hybrid structures), ensuring deliverable and margin-protected solutions through go-live.
  • Own disciplined pipeline governance, forecasting, weekly reviews, and win/loss analysis with clear reporting to senior leadership.
  • Build and deepen relationships at all levels within target accounts to unlock retention, renewals, rate reviews, and organic growth, including cross-selling into transport, freight, and last-mile services where relevant.
  • Partner closely with solutions, operations, implementation, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth commercial execution.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing benchmarks, and warehousing supply/demand to support capacity planning and investment cases.
  • As the division scales, hire, lead, and performance-manage a high-performing Contract Logistics sales team.
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene, including daily capture of contacts, opportunities, and accurate reporting.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record of 5-10 years in closing large, multi-year contract logistics deals, with Saudi experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong capability across solution design, pricing, and margin protection.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively pursue new business and engage at the C-suite level.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Excellent proposal writing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
