Host/Hostess (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Host/Hostess to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The Host/Hostess plays a key role in ensuring a positive dining experience for guests by managing seating, maintaining dining area standards, and providing attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine the size of their party.
• Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring proper setup with chairs and current menus.
• Guide guests through dining areas and offer assistance as needed.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings to accommodate groups, including those with special requirements.
• Verify that all place settings are complete with napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Inspect menus for currency, cleanliness, quantity, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, adhering to "clean-as-you-go" procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest safety and well-being.
• Adhere to all company and safety/security policies; report incidents to management and complete required training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to established quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
