Host/Hostess (Saudi Only)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Host/Hostess (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to providing excellent guest service and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine party size.
• Seat guests at clean, available tables, ensuring proper setup with chairs pulled out and current menus placed.
• Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, and organize seating for groups with special requirements.
• Verify that place settings are appropriate, including napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Inspect menus for currency, cleanliness, quantity, and presentation (wrinkle-free).
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, adhering to clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.

Operational Standards and Conduct

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

• Ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
