About the Role

Al-Ayuni Investment and Contracting Company is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its Finance function in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, entry-level position designed for a recent accounting graduate with strong academic fundamentals and a readiness to develop professional skills within a dynamic environment.

Role Purpose

The Junior Accountant will play a supporting role in the daily financial operations of the company. This position focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, assisting with core accounting processes, and contributing to the preparation of financial documentation and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process daily accounting transactions with accuracy.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting.
• Maintain organized and auditable financial records.
• Support audit preparation and data verification.
• Assist with project cost tracking and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (graduation year 2024–2026).
• Active membership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) is mandatory.
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of core accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, the accounting cycle, journal entries, trial balance, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Microsoft Excel capability.
