About the Role

Cipher | سايڤر is seeking a highly experienced Penetration Testing Director to lead its offensive security practice. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional capable of driving strategic initiatives and managing a specialized team.

Role Purpose and Leadership

The Penetration Testing Director will be instrumental in defining and executing the organization's penetration testing strategy, ensuring it aligns with broader business objectives. This leadership role involves mentoring and developing a high-performing team, alongside establishing robust KPIs, performance metrics, and quality standards for service delivery.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and reporting phases of all penetration testing engagements.
Ensure that all security assessments consistently adhere to recognized methodologies and industry best practices.
Review technical reports to confirm accuracy, quality, and the provision of actionable remediation recommendations.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their specific security objectives.
Present technical findings and executive summaries clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide technical expertise to support pre-sales activities during client engagements.

Strategic Development and Collaboration

Drive continuous improvement in penetration testing methodologies, tools, and reporting standards.
Stay informed on emerging threats, attack techniques, and offensive security trends to foster innovation within the practice.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including GRC, Security Operations, Incident Response, Engineering, and Consulting.
Engage with technology partners and vendors to enhance and expand service capabilities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must possess over 10 years of experience in penetration testing or a closely related offensive security field, demonstrating a strong background in leadership and strategic program development.
