About the Role

Amaken is seeking a Production Planning Officer for a prominent fit-out and manufacturing company located in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time position is central to ensuring the smooth operation and timely delivery of projects across various manufacturing divisions, including joinery, metal works, interior fabrication, exhibitions, and activations.

Role Overview

The Production Planning Officer is responsible for the comprehensive planning, coordination, and monitoring of all factory production activities. This involves optimizing resource utilization and maintaining efficient manufacturing operations to meet project timelines and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and monitor detailed production schedules utilizing Primavera P6, based on project timelines, factory workload, and manufacturing capacity.
Coordinate closely with production, procurement, technical, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing activities.
Monitor material availability, manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production capacity to prevent delays and bottlenecks within the factory.
Track daily production progress across manufacturing departments and prepare weekly and monthly production planning reports.
Follow up on fabrication requirements, shop drawings, cutting lists, and production data received from technical teams.
Support production recovery plans and priority scheduling when manufacturing delays occur.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), factory output, production targets, and delivery schedules through ERP and planning systems.
Identify risks impacting manufacturing timelines and recommend corrective actions.
Participate in factory and production coordination meetings to ensure alignment between departments.
Maintain accurate planning records, forecasting data, and manufacturing performance reports.

Required Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a production planning role, preferably within a manufacturing or fit-out industry.
Proficiency in using Primavera P6 for detailed production scheduling.
Experience with ERP and other planning systems for monitoring production metrics.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to manage complex production workflows.

This role is based in Riyadh, KSA, within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Production Planning Officer will work collaboratively across various departments to ensure operational excellence and project success.
