About the Purchasing Manager Role

Hyatt Regency is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Region. This full-time position involves supporting the Materials Manager in the planning and procurement of materials, alongside vendor development and the administration of contracted services, all in adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Role Responsibilities

The Purchasing Manager will play a key role in the procurement process. This includes assisting the Materials Manager with the strategic planning of material needs and executing procurement activities. A significant part of the role involves developing and managing relationships with vendors, ensuring they meet the hotel's standards and contractual obligations. The position also requires diligent administration of all contracted services to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideal candidates will possess a university degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required, specifically in a Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager capacity within a larger operational setting. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, effective administrative skills, and excellent interpersonal capabilities to foster productive working relationships.
