About Saudi Mais and the Role

Saudi Mais for Medical Products, established in 1994 in Riyadh's Third Industrial City, is a leading medical device manufacturer in the Middle East. The company specializes in advanced single-use medical disposables built to international quality standards. Saudi Mais is currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join its Supply Chain team in Riyadh.

Role Overview

The Purchasing Manager will lead the procurement strategy and ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality supply chain operations. This role involves critical collaboration with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to maintain international standards in medical device manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy and supplier qualification in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Ensure procurement compliance with ISO 13485 and applicable GMP requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance through quality, delivery, and cost KPIs.
• Lead, coach, and develop the purchasing team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing industry is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and supplier risk management.
• Professional certification is preferred (CIPS / CPSM / CSCP / CPM).

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role is based within Saudi Mais for Medical Products' operations in Riyadh's Third Industrial City.
