About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager - Operational Readiness to oversee and coordinate all operational preparedness activities for its entertainment and cultural projects. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, is crucial for ensuring the successful launch and ongoing operation of world-class facilities, focusing on strategic planning and risk mitigation to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Operational Readiness will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans to ensure all operational aspects are prepared for project launches. This involves close collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders to integrate operational readiness into project execution and to identify and address potential risks and gaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine operational readiness plans in alignment with Qiddiya’s strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams, operations, engineering, and stakeholders to embed operational readiness into project execution.
• Lead readiness assessments to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee training and development programs for staff and operational teams to meet performance standards.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational readiness and performance, reporting to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices and industry standards in operational readiness.
• Promote a guest-focused approach in all operational readiness efforts to enhance visitor experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. The role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in operational management or readiness, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity. Experience within the entertainment or large-scale infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
