About the Senior Mechanic Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance, monitoring production units, and ensuring the overall efficiency of equipment within the company's operations.

Role Purpose

The Senior Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining the mechanical integrity and operational performance of production units. This involves a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to the continuous availability and efficiency of all mechanical assets.

Key Responsibilities

Execute routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks in strict adherence to approved policies and procedures.
Monitor the performance of production units, ensuring operation within designated limits, and promptly report any observations that could impact equipment efficiency.
Identify and assess the readiness of necessary tools and equipment for maintenance activities, performing preventive checks to ensure their continuous availability.
Organize and properly store maintenance tools in their designated locations, ensuring their upkeep and the correct disposal of maintenance waste.
Conduct mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to restore their readiness and efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with safety procedures before commencing work, including verification of required permits and lockout/tagout forms.
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
