Spa Therapist (Female)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Spa Therapist (Female) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing a range of massage and body treatments to guests, ensuring a professional and comfortable experience. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy, using appropriate products and techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before commencing services.
• Stay updated with current techniques and modalities relevant to spa therapy.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room throughout the shift.
• Dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Adhere to the daily time schedule and manage inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures.
• Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area as per regional requirements.

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
