About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Sr. Engineer Systems, Data Center to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to the design, engineering, and implementation of integrated electrical power systems for containerized data center power modules. The role ensures the seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems, adhering strictly to project specifications and quality standards.

System Design and Engineering

• Design and engineer integrated power solutions for containerized data centers, incorporating MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Develop detailed system architectures, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for ETO manufacturing.

Technical Implementation and Optimization

• Implement system integration plans to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of all electrical components within the power module.
• Solve complex technical issues during the assembly and integration phases of data center power solutions.
• Analyze system performance requirements and recommend design modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Develop testing protocols and analyze results to validate system functionality against client requirements.

• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution of planned tasks.
• Solve related problems as they arise and escalate complex operational issues when necessary.
• Ensure quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant systems engineering or data center infrastructure role, demonstrating a strong background in electrical power systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
