About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Marketing Manager for its property in Medina, Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah. This full-time position is responsible for developing and executing property-level communications to enhance the hotel's image and drive consumer awareness and preference. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in marketing or a related field.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Marketing Manager will work under the Director of Marketing and Communications to promote on-brand messaging across traditional, digital, and social media channels. Key objectives include building direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to increase market share and brand awareness, with a specific focus on showcasing Food and Beverage promotions to both hotel guests and local patrons. This role involves close collaboration with regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts align with organizational sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the annual marketing plan within budget, in consultation with hotel leadership and cluster marketing teams.
• Partner with Operations, Food & Beverage, and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns targeting in-house guests to drive incremental revenue.
• Act as the liaison with advertising agencies for tactical advertising campaigns, creative, and media plans, particularly for Food and Beverage promotions.
• Manage F&B media schedules and ensure prompt settlement of accounts.
• Execute email marketing and display advertising campaigns.
• Maintain active engagement with the Cluster eCommerce Manager to ensure alignment and communication on online programs and initiatives.
• Facilitate social media engagement and content updates on local digital channels.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns across F&B, weddings, spa, rooms, and conferences via digital and social media channels.
• Engage in proactive online reputation management, responding to guest comments on social media.
• Develop and execute a quarterly PR plan, including writing and distributing press releases.
• Manage external vendors and media agencies, and identify strategic media buys.
• Coordinate photography for advertising, collateral, and public relations purposes.
• Coordinate and execute the production of Hotel and F&B printed materials and signage.
• Manage the execution of F&B direct marketing activities.
• Assist with the publication of hotel newsletters and other communications duties as required.
• Ensure the hotel's website and related sites are updated regularly.
• Provide marketing training and leadership to hotel management and staff.
• Report on the success of property marketing and eCommerce performance in coordination with above-property teams.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and evolving digital and marketing trends.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related major, plus 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or a related professional area. Hospitality marketing or digital advertising experience is preferred.
• OR A 4-year bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related major, plus 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, or a related professional area. Hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience is preferred.
• Required experience: 5-10 years.
