About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards are met across guest rooms and public areas. The role requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on maintaining cleanliness, coordinating with various departments, and supporting housekeeping management.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Run sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities and act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments to staff.
Communicate outstanding issues to the next shift and complete all required paperwork.
Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicate professionally with others and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications and Skills

0-1 years of experience in a related field.
Ability to complete safety training and certifications as required.
Proficiency in using computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and colleagues.

This is a full-time position based in Medina, Al Madinah, within the hospitality sector. The role requires active participation in a dynamic hotel environment, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
