About the Role

Equinox Resort Amaala, a new luxury lifestyle resort scheduled to open in 2026 in Amaala on the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Host / Hostess. This full-time position will play a key role in supporting the resort's outlets and contributing to its successful launch and ongoing operations. The role is based in Al Wajh.

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally and warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and present menus, ensuring a comfortable seating experience.
• Manage reservations, guest lists, table allocations, and seating plans to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
• Monitor table availability, manage guest wait times, and provide accurate waiting estimates during busy periods.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu, ingredients, preparation methods, beverages, daily specials, promotions, and events.
• Provide guests with clear information and recommendations on food and beverage selections, promotions, and restaurant offerings.
• Coordinate with the service, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure guest preferences, special requests, allergies, and VIP requirements are communicated and accommodated.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally and with a focus on resolution.
• Assist the service team with table setup, clearing, and maintaining service flow as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception and dining area in compliance with hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings to stay informed about daily specials, guest profiles, VIP arrivals, events, and service priorities.
• Support administrative tasks including reservation updates, guest profile management, seating chart updates, and communication logs.
• Assist in training and guiding new team members when required.
• Maintain knowledge of local attractions and resort activities to provide recommendations to guests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and service standards.
• Uphold the image, culture, and service philosophy of Equinox Resort Amaala.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Saudi National.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality-related qualification is preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, luxury hotels, resorts, or guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
