About the Role

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking a full-time Residence Guest Service Associate to join their team. This position offers an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 year of experience to contribute to the guest experience in a hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

The Residence Guest Service Associate will be responsible for a range of front-desk operations and guest assistance. Key duties include managing guest registration and check-out processes, handling cashiering and foreign exchange transactions, and addressing guest inquiries and requests to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay.

  • Ensuring sufficient stock of necessary supplies for the shift and daily operations.
  • Preparing guest registration forms, welcome materials, and other necessary documents prior to guest arrivals to facilitate check-in.
  • Acknowledging and welcoming guests promptly upon their approach to the desk.
  • Reviewing guest history and specialized instructions within the OPMS records.
  • Assisting guests with completing registration forms, verifying that all essential details are included.
  • Directing guests to appropriate facilities and coordinating with Concierge staff.

Core Duties

This role encompasses the primary functions of guest service operations. The Associate will manage the end-to-end guest registration and check-out procedures, handle all financial transactions including cashiering and foreign exchange, and provide essential support for guest queries and requests.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this position must meet specific criteria to be considered. This role is designated for Saudi Nationals only.

  • A minimum of 1 year of working experience in a hotel environment.
  • Fluent communication and writing skills in English, in addition to Arabic.
  • A pleasant, friendly, and cheerful demeanor.
  • This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.

Work Environment

The role is based at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah. This is a full-time position within the hotel's guest services department, focusing on providing direct assistance to residents and guests.
