About the Role

Ruya Recruitment is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for a well-established financial services organization headquartered in Jeddah. This role is central to the company's ambitious five-year growth plan, focusing on technology and digital transformation. The position is full-time and based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah and Makkah. The salary is not disclosed.

Role Context and Objectives

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer will be instrumental in defining the company's technology roadmap and driving enterprise-wide digital transformation. The objective is to support the organization's evolution into a technology-led financial services entity. This leadership position requires a strategic vision to align technology initiatives with overarching business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's digital and technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives across technology and operations.
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation, robotics, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Oversee the implementation of new technology platforms and digital solutions.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing technology function.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
• Ensure technology, cybersecurity, and business continuity frameworks support the organization's long-term growth.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 12 years of leadership experience within the technology sector.
• A minimum of 5 years operating at the C-level (*, CIO, CTO, Chief Digital Officer, or equivalent executive role).
• A proven track record of leading enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.
• Experience in implementing AI, automation, and modern digital platforms.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technology strategy to business goals.
• Experience within financial services, FinTech, or other regulated environments is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, with responsibilities encompassing Jeddah and Makkah. The role is based within a well-established financial services organization.
