About the Role

Big Fish Consult is seeking an experienced Finance Reporting & Business Partnering Manager (FP&A) to join its finance team. This full-time role is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah cities. The position is critical for delivering accurate financial reporting, providing commercial insights, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.

Role Purpose and Impact

The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between the Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions. This involves ensuring the integrity of financial information while partnering with business leaders to enhance financial performance and contribute to organizational growth. The role also drives finance transformation initiatives, focusing on efficiency and reporting quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management reports, executive dashboards, board reports, and KPI performance packs.
  • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and annual external audit processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
  • Partner with business units to provide financial insights, commercial analysis, and decision support.
  • Evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, commercial proposals, and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze project profitability, revenue performance, cost trends, and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Support pricing reviews, contract evaluations, and profitability assessments.
  • Monitor working capital performance, including cash flow, receivables, payables, and liquidity.
  • Lead reporting automation and finance digitization initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance ERP systems, reporting platforms, and financial data governance.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making through advanced reporting and business intelligence solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 6–10 years of experience in Financial Reporting, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, financial governance, and statutory reporting.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar.
  • Experience in finance transformation, reporting automation, or digital finance initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.

Preferred Background

Experience within large corporate organizations, real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality, or other project-driven industries will be highly regarded for this position.
