About the Role

BinDawood Holding is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Translator to join its Legal Department. This full-time position is based in Jeddah or Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide essential translation and paralegal support, ensuring the accurate rendition of legal documents between Arabic and English.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate clear and precise communication within the legal framework of BinDawood Holding. This involves translating a variety of legal materials, including contracts, policies, and other legal documentation, while upholding the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate legal documents, agreements, financial documentation, and policies from Arabic to English and vice versa, ensuring legal accuracy and confidentiality.
• Review and proofread translated documents to ensure consistency and proper use of legal terminology.
• Support the Legal Department in drafting bilingual correspondence, reports, and other legal documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure translated materials meet legal and business requirements.
• Maintain and organize a database of translated legal documents for reference and retrieval.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in translation, preferably within a legal, corporate, or professional services environment.
• A background in legal studies or finance, or prior experience working with legal documentation, is considered an advantage.
• Experience within the FMCG or retail industries is also a plus.
• The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong understanding of legal and business terminology in both Arabic and English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities concurrently.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position within the Legal Department of BinDawood Holding. The role is based in the cities of Jeddah or Makkah, located in the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia.
