Role Overview

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Pool & Recreation Attendant to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on enhancing the guest experience by encouraging participation in recreation activities, ensuring safety, and maintaining facility standards. The attendant plays a key role in fostering a fun and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere while providing information about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Enforce recreation facility rules and regulations to ensure guest and member safety.
• Observe activity within the facility and respond appropriately to emergencies, identifying situations where guests cannot safely participate and informing supervisors.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally using clear language and appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 50 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
