Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Asset Condition Assessment & Investment Planning for a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading the delivery of large-scale infrastructure asset management projects within a dynamic environment.

Role Summary and Objectives

The successful candidate will oversee critical functions including asset registration, comprehensive condition assessment programs, specialist engineering investigations, and the development of long-term asset investment planning initiatives. This position requires strong project leadership, effective stakeholder management, and deep expertise in asset management principles to ensure all project objectives are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams in executing asset registration and asset condition assessment programs across complex infrastructure facilities.
• Monitor project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and overall project performance, ensuring compliance with approved methodologies, project execution plans, and quality standards.
• Oversee the development, verification, and reconciliation of comprehensive asset registers, ensuring asset information is accurate, structured, and aligned with recognized asset management frameworks.
• Manage asset inspection, testing, and condition assessment activities across multiple engineering disciplines, coordinating engineering specialists and technical subject matter experts.
• Support the preparation and review of long-term asset investment and capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans, analyzing asset performance, condition, risk, and lifecycle requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key project stakeholders, leading project meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
• Monitor project budgets, commercial performance, subcontractor agreements, and resource allocation.
• Manage specialist subcontractors, engineering consultants, and technical service providers, ensuring project resources are effectively planned and deployed.
• Oversee asset data collection, validation, and integration into enterprise asset management systems, ensuring consistency between physical asset data, operational records, and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within asset condition assessment and investment planning.
• Demonstrated strong project leadership capabilities.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder management.
• In-depth knowledge of asset management principles.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, requiring engagement with complex infrastructure facilities and multidisciplinary teams.
