About the Role

DP World is seeking a Senior Supervisor Infrastructure Management to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the operational continuity of terminal assets and the successful execution of infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising daily facility and maintenance activities, acting as a key link between the operations team and the Manager – Infrastructure Management.

Core Operational Responsibilities

The Senior Supervisor will oversee critical day-to-day functions to maintain terminal infrastructure and ensure efficient operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising daily maintenance and repair activities for the terminal yard, quay side, examination areas, cold inspection facilities, and associated assets.
• Implementing ISO 41001-compliant asset management systems for terminal structures, including berths, yards, and buildings.
• Leading resilience planning initiatives specifically for coastal infrastructure.
• Monitoring the performance of maintenance activities and escalating any major issues to the Manager – Infrastructure Management.
• Ensuring strict adherence to established preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Developing LEAN workflows aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving efficiency.

Project and Vendor Management

This role involves significant coordination with external parties and oversight of project execution to ensure quality and timely delivery:

• Assisting in the supervision and coordination of various infrastructure projects, including renovations, upgrades, and small-scale constructions.
• Ensuring that contractors and vendors comply with project timelines, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Providing regular progress updates on projects and proactively flagging potential risks or delays to the Manager.
• Supporting the monitoring of service providers’ performance, encompassing PM services, Integrated Facility Management (IFM) contracts, and temporary resources.
• Verifying the quality of vendor work, raising any issues, and reporting gaps to the Manager.
• Coordinating with vendors for day-to-day requirements in accordance with approved contracts.

Compliance, Resources, and Reporting

The Senior Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance, alongside effective resource allocation:

• Ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted in strict adherence to HSE standards and international marine safety requirements.
• Monitoring compliance with terminal regulations and escalating any non-compliance issues to the Manager.
• Allocating and monitoring resources for maintenance and project tasks, aligning with operational plans.
• Supporting coordination with planning and business intelligence teams to effectively track resources.
• Ensuring the consistent availability of necessary tools, equipment, and manpower for task execution.
• Implementing and supporting emergency response procedures for facility-related incidents, ensuring resource readiness and escalating critical issues.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of maintenance schedules, vendor performance, and project progress.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure management, facility maintenance, or project supervision, preferably within a port or terminal environment.
