About the Role

Algihaz Holding is seeking a dedicated Testing & Commissioning Engineer to contribute to its operations in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the successful implementation and handover of various projects within the company's portfolio.

Role Purpose

The Testing & Commissioning Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting and executing all testing and commissioning activities. This involves active participation in the planning, execution, and reporting phases of projects, ensuring compliance with established standards and operational readiness of installed equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the overall management of Testing and Commissioning (T&C) activities.
• Coordinate and contribute to the production of the T&C plan.
• Assist in developing commissioning test plans and procedures for various installed equipment.
• Provide comprehensive reports on T&C activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs) of testing activities.
• Ensure timely notifications for upcoming testing are dispatched to all required parties.
• Support the coordination of works, T&C activities, site access, and necessary permits.
• Assist in overseeing T&C site safety protocols.
• Support the scheduling and planning for the handover of equipment from the Project team to the T&C agency.
• Support compliance, approval, and acceptance processes.
• Attend project meetings for assigned projects as required.
• Troubleshoot and analyze various types of faults, implementing corrective measures to maintain power and prevent future occurrences.
• Build and create CID files for different types of relays and manage relevant relay configurations.
• Review drawings to provide modification recommendations.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must bring a solid foundation of practical experience in testing and commissioning. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a directly relevant engineering or technical role is essential for this position.

This full-time role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the dynamic environment of Algihaz Holding. The position involves working closely with project teams and various agencies to ensure successful project delivery.
