About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Hatchery Planner to support daily hatchery operations and production planning activities in Hail. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring efficient resource utilization, maintaining production performance, and monitoring key performance indicators while upholding biosecurity and quality standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate daily hatchery activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Prepare and monitor production plans in line with business requirements and production targets.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and operational resources to maintain readiness and efficiency.
Monitor hatchery performance, production results, hatchability, chick quality, and key operational KPIs.
Ensure compliance with hatchery operating procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
Monitor and enforce biosecurity requirements to maintain high standards of flock health and operational safety.
Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and chick quality.
Collaborate closely with hatchery management and cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Production, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of experience in commercial poultry hatchery operations.
Experience in incubation, hatching, chick processing, vaccination, and hatchery production processes.
Knowledge of hatchery equipment operation, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
Experience with production planning, KPI analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This role is based in Hail and involves working within a dynamic hatchery environment, collaborating with various teams to meet operational objectives and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
