The Role: Design Engineering Coordinator

The Design Engineering Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing engineering and design activities for critical projects. This full-time position involves coordinating efforts across transmission, substation, and OHTL/UG cable projects, ensuring all work adheres to SEC standards and specific project requirements. The coordinator will be responsible for the timely submission, thorough review, and final approval of all design-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all design and engineering activities with clients, external consultants, and internal project teams.
• Review electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documents to ensure full compliance with SEC standards.
• Prepare and manage various engineering deliverables, technical submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and design revisions.
• Facilitate design approvals and ensure timely submission of all required documentation to SEC and relevant consultants.
• Provide essential engineering and design-related support to construction teams, resolving issues as they arise.
• Maintain robust engineering document control systems and continuously monitor design progress to meet project schedules.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in engineering coordination or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of engineering and design processes pertinent to transmission, substation, and OHTL/UG cable projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and project compliance protocols.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time employment opportunity. The role is based in Al Kahafah, Ha'il, Saudi Arabia, serving projects within the Hail region.
