About the Role: Senior Production Manager

This full-time position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically in Makkah, King Abdullah Economic City, or Rabigh. The role involves leading and managing end-to-end seafood production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive seafood production operations, which include Shrimp, Salmon, and Multi-Purpose processing lines. This role is critical for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining product quality, upholding food safety compliance, optimizing yield, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position focuses on meeting business objectives and customer requirements within Almarai's operational framework.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily production operations across all seafood processing and packing lines.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, SFDA regulations, ISO standards, and all food safety requirements.
Drive production efficiency, maximize yield, and minimize waste and processing losses.
Manage manpower, equipment, and resources to achieve established production targets.
Monitor seafood processing activities, including filleting, trimming, grading, portioning, glazing, freezing, and packaging.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational excellence and product consistency.
Lead, coach, and develop production teams to improve performance and technical capabilities.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and HSE teams to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes.

Required Experience and Skills

A minimum of 10 years of experience in production management, preferably within the food and beverage or seafood processing industry.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing production teams and overseeing complex operations.
Strong understanding and practical experience with food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, SFDA, ISO).
Proven ability to drive efficiency, optimize yield, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
