About Bvlgari and the Role

Bvlgari Middle East is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position.

Role Overview

The Deputy Store Manager will consistently model the required behaviors, skills, knowledge, business acumen, managerial prowess, and coaching posture. This role acts as an ambassador of the Bvlgari Maison, both inside and outside the boutique, and may involve attending local and regional events. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Deputy Store Manager supports the achievement of business targets and ensures the boutique's excellence through daily retail operations, problem-solving, and team engagement, thereby elevating the client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a reference for all staff regarding sale-related processes and queries on the sales floor, providing prompt problem-solving to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Provide feedback to the sales team and after-sale team on service delivery and sales attitude.
• Contribute individually and as part of a team towards achieving sales targets.
• Model an elevated client experience posture on the shop floor and champion best practices to the team.
• Manage client concerns, disputes, and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction is consistently pursued and restored.
• Approve discounts as per company policy.
• Support in rota management.
• Assist in analyzing business trends, both within the store and the local competitor market, identifying best sellers, slow sellers, and generating business ideas to support guidelines.
• Coordinate back office activities when the Head of Back Office is not on duty.
• Ensure that the store embodies the brand guidelines to the highest level and operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales position.
• A successful track record of driving personal sales targets and supporting collective store and/or market targets.
• A proven record of proactively handling client relationships inside and outside the boutique.
• Experience managing a team of sales professionals.

• Very strong commercial acumen.

• Ability to share knowledge of the luxury industry, demonstrating curiosity about the market and competition.
