About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking an experienced Electrical QC Inspector to join our project team in Jeddah, Makkah region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and focuses on ensuring the highest quality of electrical installations throughout various construction phases.

Role Overview

The Electrical QC Inspector will be responsible for verifying that all electrical installation works are executed in strict compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, established quality standards, and client requirements. The role demands strong hands-on expertise in inspection, testing, comprehensive documentation, and effective coordination with consultants and project teams from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform site inspections for diverse electrical installation works, including MV/LV cable laying and pulling, cable trays, conduits, grounding systems, lighting, panels, transformers, switchgear, DBs, MCCs, and associated electrical systems.
• Conduct material receiving inspections to verify that all delivered electrical materials comply with approved material submittals and project specifications.
• Prepare and coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and other inspection requests with consultants and client representatives.
• Witness and verify electrical testing activities, such as insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, cable megger, Hi-Pot, transformer, panel functional, and illumination/lux level tests.
• Ensure all electrical works adhere to approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), local regulations, and applicable international standards.
• Identify non-conforming work, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), monitor corrective actions, and ensure their timely closure.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test reports, calibration certificates, quality records, and daily inspection logs.
• Coordinate effectively with construction, engineering, and QA/QC teams to ensure consistent quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in electrical quality control inspection.
• Previous approval or experience with Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, or Royal Commission is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of international electrical standards and construction quality procedures.

• Excellent coordination skills to manage inspection processes and team collaboration.
