About the Logistics Team Leader Role

Arla Foods is seeking a dedicated Logistics Team Leader to join our team in Makkah. This full-time position requires an individual with 2-5 years of experience in logistics and warehousing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including inbound and outbound processes, general warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Prepare and execute daily operational plans accurately within defined parameters.
• Oversee inventory, manage goods handling, and maintain accurate warehouse records to ensure effective stock control, proper storage, and timely distribution.
• Coordinate with planners, Sales, and commercial operations to facilitate timely order delivery.
• Ensure accurate preparation and provision of all necessary delivery documentation to drivers prior to departure, and manage the receipt of documentation and address related inquiries or complaints.
• Maintain warehouse, machinery, material handling equipment, and truck maintenance.
• Develop team competencies by enabling and coaching team members in alignment with Arla's leadership principles and values.
• Contribute to operational tasks with flexibility and adaptability, informing management of any issues promptly.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Skilled education within logistics, warehousing, or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling goods, preferably food products.
• Basic understanding of warehouse machinery, equipment, and fleet, with the ability to coordinate timely maintenance.
• Intermediate English and IT skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of Power BI and AI.
• Intermediate proficiency in SAP Applications (EWM, ERP (ECC), BW Report, RFUI).

This role involves understanding customer needs and building strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally. Effective communication and coordination with various departments are crucial for ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
