Esnad Contracting is seeking a Structural QC Inspector to join a project team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based within the Makkah Region, covering projects in both Jeddah and Makkah. The position requires a professional with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality control for structural construction activities.

The Role of a Structural QC Inspector

The Structural QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all structural construction works adhere to the highest quality standards and project specifications. This involves meticulous inspection, verification, and documentation of various construction phases, contributing to the successful delivery of projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of structural construction activities, including excavation, backfilling, compaction, concrete works, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, finishing, and other related civil works.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Inspect and verify materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved submittals and project requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) with the Consultant/Client.
• Witness and coordinate required field and laboratory tests, including soil, concrete, reinforcement, and other civil quality tests.
• Identify and report non-conforming work and follow up on corrective actions with the site team.
• Maintain and update all quality records, inspection reports, test reports, WIR/MIR records, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and related QC documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in quality control within civil or structural construction projects.
• Previous experience or approval in projects for Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, or the Royal Commission is mandatory.
• Relevant QC certifications are preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah Region of Saudi Arabia, with primary project locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working on-site to conduct inspections and ensure quality compliance across various structural construction activities.
