About the Tamayyaz Welcomer Role

Accor is seeking a Welcomer to join the Tamayyaz program. Tamayyaz is a Nationalization Development Program designed to equip Saudi talents with the necessary skills and knowledge for various hospitality professions within a defined timeframe, utilizing a blend of classroom learning and on-the-job training. This is a full-time position with an experience requirement of 0-1 years.

Program Overview

The Tamayyaz program focuses on developing local talent within the hospitality sector. Participants will gain practical experience and theoretical knowledge to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable grooming standards at all times, including uniform, name tag, makeup, and hair.
• Exhibit a consistently positive attitude and a welcoming demeanor, always with a smile.
• Act with speed and efficiency, diligently following instructions provided by supervisors.
• Ensure the assigned section is kept tidy at all times, maintaining adequate stock of operational supplies and adhering strictly to operational procedures.
• Process check-ins and check-outs in accordance with established standards, paying close attention to audit, immigration, and guest history details to ensure accuracy and completeness of operations.
• Actively listen and retain information from briefings, including daily supervisor briefings, shift handovers, and Front Desk Committee meetings, participating dynamically in discussions.
• Promptly report any issues or queries to the supervisor during the shift.
• Read the reception logbook at the start of each shift, follow up on entries, and maintain its accuracy throughout the shift.
• Ensure all guests checking in during the shift are accurately recorded on the relevant immigration reports (*, CID as per UAE law) on the same day.
• Facilitate swift guidance for VIP guests or executive floor bookings to the designated floor to ensure they receive all associated benefits.
• Be prepared to assist guests with any requests they may have.
• Conduct a thorough handover at the end of the shift, including clearing the station and providing detailed information to the incoming shift. Verify the accuracy of the cashier report and ensure all supporting documents are attached.
• Identify and act upon opportunities to promote and sell hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all hotel patrons.
• Understand and be prepared to execute duties and responsibilities in the event of a fire.
• Strictly adhere to all established standards and procedures.
