The Barista Role at Jasmine Garden Hotel

Jasmine Garden Hotel is seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is exclusively for Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The Barista will be a key member of our cafe staff, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through high-quality service and beverage preparation.

Role Purpose and Guest Experience

The primary objective of this role is to create a welcoming and efficient cafe environment. The Barista will ensure a smooth and comfortable hospitality experience for all customers by greeting them warmly, accurately processing orders, and expertly preparing and serving a diverse range of beverages and food items. Adherence to cleanliness, speed of service, and professional conduct is paramount to enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with a polite and professional demeanor.
• Present menus and provide clear explanations of items and daily specials as required.
• Accurately record customer orders and process them efficiently, including entry into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages and food items, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Actively ensure customer satisfaction and address any feedback or complaints professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and customer tables consistently.
• Comply with all established occupational health and safety regulations.
• Handle cash and electronic payment transactions accurately and with integrity.
• Assist in managing inventory, including arranging stock and reporting any shortages.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure prompt and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience (0-1 years) in a similar role as an order taker or barista.
• Basic knowledge of preparing various beverages, including coffee and cold drinks.
• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems is considered an advantage.
