We are seeking passionate and dynamic maintenance professionals who take pride in their ability to deliver extraordinary customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems in the hotel, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, and chillers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Check the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Verify and maintain all door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers.
  • Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
  • Work on maintenance requests from all departments.
  • Control the venting of CFCs to the atmosphere and perform overhauls on air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment.

Qualifications:
  • A diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or in building services engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a proven knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Excellent command of English.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Self-motivated and hands-on.
  • Ability to adapt to unpredictable events.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong customer focus and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel - freezer, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chiller, etc.
  • Maintain preventively all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems within the hotel
  • Check on performance of refrigeration systems and components
  • Verify all door closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezer (door gaskets/latches)
  • Check and maintain all defrosting systems and automation of ice makers
  • Work on maintenance requests from all departments
  • Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters
  • Check performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems
  • Cooperate with all engineering colleagues in the detection of failures of air-condition and refrigeration systems
  • Strict control on venting of CFC’s to atmosphere
  • Overhauling of air-condition/refrigeration equipment and systems
  • Check all refrigeration and oil levels and control of major repairs
  • Cooperate and inform Engineering Storekeeper on the purchase of parts
  • Carry out all works as per the country technical regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:
You should have ideally a diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or in building services engineering, with previous experience in the same role and a proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.

المهارات والمؤهلات:
يجب أن تمتلك على الأقل دبلوم في صيانة أنظمة التبريد أو في هندسة خدمات المباني، مع خبرة سابقة في دور مشابه. يعد إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية أمرًا أساسيًا، إلى جانب القدرة على استكشاف المشكلات وحلها بفعالية. يجب أن يكون المرشحون متحفزين ذاتيًا ومرنين وقادرين على الازدهار في بيئة مزدحمة مع الحفاظ على الانتباه للتفاصيل.
