Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Investment Analysis leads investment analysis for an assigned region. This full-time role involves heading a team responsible for assessing investment opportunities and monitoring existing investments. The position reports to the Head of Investment Analysis and covers the regional pipeline from appraisal to post-investment monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment of regional investment opportunities, including financial modeling and feasibility studies.
• Develop investment recommendations and conduct associated risk assessments.
• Monitor investments post-approval against their original business cases.
• Provide market views relevant to investment decisions.
• Apply modeling, appraisal, and risk standards defined by the Head of Investment Analysis.
• Operate within the investment lifecycle and allocation framework administered by the GCIO Office.
• Receive opportunities from Capital Partnerships, Land Sales, and Development teams.
• Present appraised positions to the approvals forum and originating teams.

Accountabilities

The role holder is accountable for achieving project Internal Rate of Return (IRR), ensuring approval success, managing appraisal cycle times, and maintaining the integrity of all investment recommendations issued for the assigned region.
