About the Role

stc is seeking a Data Science Assistant Manager to join its team. This full-time role is responsible for identifying, designing, and delivering cross-functional analytics use cases. These use cases are intended to enhance decision-making abilities across Business Units (BUs) and Functional Units (FUs).

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide advanced analytical support, including dashboards, reports, tools, solutions, real-time and interactive analysis, and forward predictive analysis necessary for effective business decision-making. The role holder will also ensure appropriate resource allocation for advanced analytics projects and define the support provided to business units as needed. All duties will be carried out in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and lead a team of advanced analytics experts and data scientists (SWAT team) to address cross-sector and strategic requests.
• Ensure collaboration between the SWAT team and BU-specific insight specialists and data scientists to provide additional capacity or guidance for internal BU analytical needs.
• Support BUs/FUs with complex and standardized analytics requests by allocating analytical resources from the SWAT team.
• Propose cross-functional analytics use cases based on available data and identified needs from BUs/FUs.
• Prioritize the implementation of cross-functional analyses based on an assessment of value creation potential for stc.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
