General Accountant

About the Role

Hilton is seeking a General Accountant to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial transactions, contributing to the overall guest experience through meticulous financial management. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate financial records by balancing and coding previous day’s transactions and preparing daily operating sales and labor summaries.
• Verify and audit transactions, review night audit reports, ensure sales journal accuracy, and analyze all adjustments.
• Reconcile banquet revenue by auditing banquet tickets and matching them with banquet orders to ensure proper billing.
• Monitor financial adjustments, tracking and routing rebates, miscellaneous charges, promotional tickets, and paid outs.
• Maintain recordkeeping by filing and archiving financial documents in compliance with tax authority requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments, providing assistance as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in accounting or a related financial field. A strong understanding of financial transactions and record-keeping principles is essential. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
