About the Role: Generalist Business Operations Engineer

Jobgether is seeking a Generalist Business Operations Engineer to work full-time in Saudi Arabia, on behalf of a partner company. This position is suitable for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who are highly analytical and proactive. The primary goal of this role is to enhance business efficiency through strategic problem-solving, automation, and process optimization across various departments.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Business Operations Engineer will identify operational challenges and design solutions that create measurable impact. This role requires combining analytical thinking, technical skills, and operational expertise to build scalable systems and improve daily workflows. Rather than solely coordinating projects, the individual will take ownership of identifying issues, investigating root causes, and implementing practical improvements within a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate across business areas to understand workflows, identify challenges, and uncover opportunities for optimization.
  • Investigate operational issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable processes, systems, and automation solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Build internal tools and automated workflows that reduce repetitive manual tasks.
  • Create, improve, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistent and efficient operations.
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives from initial problem discovery through implementation and adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new solutions are practical, effective, and successfully integrated.
  • Continuously review existing processes and recommend improvements based on data and business needs.

  • Experience in operations, project management, business analysis, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
