About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance-Rooms-Preventative professional to join their team. This full-time position involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance across guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces, ensuring all facilities meet operational standards. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms (CARE, RPM, GCPM), meeting rooms, and public spaces.
• Conduct tasks such as flipping/inspecting mattresses and box springs, assembling bed frames, and vacuuming behind/underneath furniture.
• Execute spot cleaning of carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting, and furniture touch-ups.
• Ensure all necessary hardware and appliances are present and in working order, including replacing light fixtures and inspecting/repairing grout and caulking.
• Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms according to property preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
• Perform minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
• Conduct general cleaning of guestroom surfaces, including tubs, wall tiles, hard floors, walls, windows, and mirrors.
• Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or for an entire work shift.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.
