About the Role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading operational activities to ensure successful project delivery, maintaining high quality standards, and maximizing client satisfaction within budget. The Operations Manager will work closely with Project Managers and commercial teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team in all activities to ensure building contracts are won and delivered on time, to the highest quality, and within budget.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and commercial teams monthly to produce Cost/Value reconciliations.
• Ensure contract obligations are met, services are delivered efficiently, and all risks are identified and managed.
• Conduct contract review, negotiations, and project execution planning.
• Understand performance targets, identify and manage potential risks and opportunities.
• Specify project objectives and plans, including scope delineation, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting project subcontractors.
• Compile procurement schedules and liaise with Project Managers and commercial teams on site supply and specialist requirements, specifying deadlines.
• Develop and implement project strategy and programs, interrogate progress reports, and instigate early corrective actions.
• Represent the company at site meetings as required.
• Ensure accurate records are kept as construction progresses throughout projects.
• Monitor site practices and routines to ensure compliance with relevant company procedures and practices.
• Lead project handover and ensure defect/snag-free completion, implementing a robust strategy for defect closure and certification.
• Develop project management and installation capabilities across different regions of the Kingdom.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
• Monitor methods and output to ensure required quality standards are achieved at minimum cost.
• Develop, nurture, and manage client and supply chain relationships.
• Oversee construction sites and manage vendors and trades.
• Monitor organization and methods to ensure maximum efficiency and maximize resource efficiency (labor, materials, and equipment).
• Lead and motivate the delivery team, ensuring its balance and shape to deliver the workload profile.
• Recruit, reward, retain, and develop personnel.
• Maintain continuous professional development for self and team to ensure appropriate technical awareness and maximize team members' potential.
• Share best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the interiors or construction industry. A proven track record in leading teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery within budget is essential.
