About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time, long-term position as a PhD Peer Reviewer in Dietetics. This role supports remote work and requires a commitment to providing thorough evaluations of academic manuscripts.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive peer reviews of dietetics manuscripts. This involves critically assessing the quality, originality, and scientific rigor of submitted work. The reviewer will play a crucial part in the editorial process by providing expert feedback to journal editors.

• Evaluate the novelty and originality of research, determining its contribution to the field of dietetics.
• Assess the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date literature.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding the publication status of the manuscript (acceptance, revision, or rejection) based on the evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a strong academic background and relevant experience in dietetics research and publication. The following qualifications are required:

• A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Dietetics or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
