About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time, long-term remote position as a Peer Reviewer specializing in Nutrition. This role requires a high level of academic and analytical expertise to contribute to the integrity of scholarly publications. The position is based in Saudi Arabia.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities involve critically evaluating submitted manuscripts to ensure their scientific merit and adherence to publication standards. This includes:

• Assessing the originality and novelty of research, determining if it contributes new knowledge to the field.
• Evaluating the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verifying that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date literature.
• Analyzing the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Providing constructive feedback to authors, highlighting potential flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Recommending publication decisions to the journal editor based on the comprehensive evaluation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles pertinent to the discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in peer review for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
