About the Portfolio Associate - Reporting Role

Jobgether is seeking a Portfolio Associate - Reporting for a partner company. This full-time position supports the operational framework of an investment platform, focusing on portfolio reporting, data management, and dealflow coordination. The role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can build structure, optimize processes, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of portfolio and transaction data that informs strategic decision-making. You will interact with investment professionals, portfolio companies, and external stakeholders, contributing directly to the scalability and effectiveness of the investment platform.

  • Oversee the collection, validation, reconciliation, and maintenance of portfolio company financial and operational data within CRM and reporting systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate portfolio reporting by gathering periodic updates and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain internal reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools.
  • Serve as an operational point of contact for portfolio companies, facilitating communication and identifying support needs.
  • Manage inbound investment opportunities by logging, categorizing, tracking, and routing dealflow.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline hygiene for all opportunities and portfolio records.
  • Support deal execution processes by coordinating documentation, tracking milestones, and maintaining deal records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to manage investment-related materials.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, operational workflows, and portfolio management systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization across investment operations and reporting activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong foundation in operational support and data management within an investment context.

  • 2-5 years of experience in operations, investment support, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), analyst, reporting, or related roles, preferably within venture capital, private equity, investment management, or financial services.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, dealflow management systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets functions.
  • Proven ability to build, document, improve, and maintain structured operational processes and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote, global, and fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

Additional experience and familiarity with specific areas of investment operations can be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with venture capital, growth-stage investments, portfolio reporting, valuation methodologies, or investment operations is considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience administering CRM systems, building reporting dashboards, or working with blockchain and digital asset ecosystems is a plus.

This is a full-time position. The role operates within a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, requiring interaction with various internal and external parties.
