About the Backend Engineer Role

Hire Feed is seeking a Backend Engineer for a contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable backend systems to support high-performance applications. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient APIs and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services utilizing modern frameworks and tools.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for a global user base.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
• Debug and resolve issues in production environments, prioritizing system uptime.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
• Strong understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, such as Git.
