This internship is ideal for individuals seeking to gain foundational experience in BIM development.

Role Overview and Purpose

The Specialist BIM Development will assist in ensuring that BIM standards, workflows, and deliverables are consistently applied throughout project lifecycles. The position involves providing technical guidance and support for data integration to enhance project efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards. The internship focuses on practical application of BIM principles in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across projects.
• Coordinating BIM activities with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of BIM deliverables.
• Supporting design coordination, clash detection, and model integration processes.
• Monitoring BIM progress and adherence to project plans.
• Validating models against design intent, specifications, and relevant regulations.
• Assisting in resolving model inconsistencies and implementing corrective actions.
• Supporting the integration of BIM with cost, GIS, and asset management systems.
• Contributing to digital modeling, simulation, visualization, and digital twin initiatives.

Internship Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in architectural design, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• No prior professional experience is required for this internship.
• Eligibility for the Tamheer Program.
