Rua Al Madinah Holding is offering an internship position for a Specialist Planning & Scheduling as part of the Tamheer Program. This role is based in Medina, Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, and is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience seeking to gain practical knowledge in project planning and scheduling within a development context.

Role Overview

The Specialist Planning & Scheduling intern will support the development and monitoring of project schedules and planning activities across various development projects. This role involves assisting senior planners in preparing schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with project plans, budgets, and timelines throughout the project lifecycle. The internship provides hands-on experience in a key project management function.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules covering all project phases, including planning, design, approvals, construction, and handover.
• Support the development of project timelines, key milestones, and basic phasing plans.
• Help track project progress and update schedules based on actual developments.
• Assist in identifying potential delays and risks, and proposing simple solutions under guidance.
• Support the monitoring of critical activities and overall project timelines.
• Help coordinate schedules across different teams and project areas.
• Assist in aligning schedules with project budgets and overarching project plans.
• Contribute to analyzing schedule data and preparing basic reports.
• Update schedules to reflect design or scope changes and support change management processes.
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and progress updates for the team.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of schedules and their updates.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, encompassing written and spoken communication.
• No prior professional experience is required for this internship.
• Eligibility for the Tamheer Program.
