About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a DC Operations Specialist to join its team in Abha, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for leading assigned operational areas within the Distribution Center, ensuring efficient and effective processes in line with safety and governmental standards. The role focuses on optimizing manpower and maximizing the utilization of DC resources.

Role Overview

The DC Operations Specialist will oversee critical aspects of distribution center operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal standards. This includes strategic planning for demand fluctuations, meticulous management of daily operations, and active participation in supply chain projects to meet divisional objectives. A key component of this role involves maintaining high standards of stock accuracy, operational compliance, and staff safety.

Distribution Center Management Responsibilities

• Lead operations in adherence to all relevant standards, including Safety, SFDA, and ISO, to ensure staff safety and compliance.
• Plan for demand fluctuations, seasonality, and capacity utilization through order frequency and crisis management to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and high responsiveness.
• Participate in Supply Chain projects as assigned by management to ensure effective and timely delivery of divisional objectives.
• Lead daily operations and conduct regular audits to ensure stock accuracy, operational standard compliance, and custody compliance.
• Monitor space utilization and layout regularly, maximizing all storage and pick types to ensure the effectiveness of DC operations.
• Supervise the loading and unloading processes by performing random checks, reviewing loading, receiving, and unloading checklists, assessing safety measures, and measuring the temperature and humidity of the DC to ensure compliance with Nahdi’s standards and SFDA regulations.
• Ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by reviewing KPI reports, confirming that all operations meet the agreed SLA.

Team Leadership and Performance

• Manage the performance of the assigned team through monitoring KPI achievement, coaching, following up on obstacles, providing performance feedback and conversations, and developing action plans when needed to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Conduct daily Operations meetings at the DC to ensure shift objectives are being met, keeping DC supervisors and Team Leaders informed of priorities.
• Manage the manpower of the assigned DCs by coordinating the workload between shifts and departments to maintain an uninterrupted flow of work.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in distribution center operations or a closely related field.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Abha, Saudi Arabia, and operates under the following conditions:

• Work Setting: Approximately 90% indoors, 10% outdoors.
• Working Days: 5 days per week.
• Days Off: 2 days per week.
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
