OTR Supervisor

About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking an OTR Supervisor to join its team in Abha. This full-time role involves managing last-mile delivery operations to ensure packages reach customers safely and on time, while upholding high quality standards. The supervisor will contribute to improving and streamlining OTR processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the team, promoting health and safety standards.
• Lead and manage Delivery Associates and last-mile delivery operations.
• Monitor and drive On-The-Road performance metrics, including OTD, DDS, DOT, and delivery success rates.
• Uphold high standards of delivery quality and customer experience.
• Solve real-time routing, dispatch, and delivery challenges to ensure on-time performance.
• Strive to improve and streamline OTR processes and reduce delivery defects.
• Actively share and promote best practices with colleagues and the network.

Operational Tasks

• Conduct daily follow-ups with vendors regarding the onboarding process.
• Facilitate the onboarding process with external contractors.
• Manage incentives.
• Perform uniform auditing and inventory checks.
• Handle daily operational communications with DSP POCs and escalate issues to owners as needed.
• Address daily DS callouts related to DSP DAs.
• Arrange and follow up on DAY0 attendance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Availability to work 40 hours/week, with overtime as required.

Work Environment

The OTR Supervisor will operate within dynamic Delivery Stations, managing last-mile delivery operations to ensure efficient and timely package delivery to customers.
